Red-Wing Blackbird

This 9x12 continuous line drawing was a cathartic piece designed to represent the loops and pathways in life we frequent, but eventually have to let go of. The single stroke of blood is both a nod to the birds colorful wings, as well as a symbol of a necessary ending to pursue new ventures.
